Please pray with us - When people rioted a few years back, burning and crashing everything I did not worry. When in the beginning of the crisis some employees were accidentally burned to death I was a bit worried. Nowadays, I am finally really worried. After some robbers killing somebody to get his camera that meant to shoot the birth of his child, right wing groups started attacking immigrants indiscriminately. They even barged into houses. Next a random bypasser was killed simply because his was foreigner. Now these events escalate from both sides... they both feed from reasons that can easily lead to a wider outbrake of violence. At the same time there is a lot of resentment towards police that has abandoned whole areas of Athens so that it is not safe to go through them even in day light. It also happens that police fatally injured a couple of protesters while they were unable to be of threat. Hence, people are angry that instead of being protected they are injured when they protest against injustices. The situation is highly inflammable and it does not take much for things to totally get out of control. These days we see a glimpse of that!
